I am planning on breastfeeding. can anyone tell me what helped them most to not get overwhelmed? Does the hospital have a nurse to help you with questions? Is there classes you can go to?

I hate when I see the question " am I pregnant" ... I feel like none of us can know that... take a pregnancy test && that will tell you.. if it comes back negative && you still think you are go to the dr. There is no possible way any of us can tell or help you!
Hi Preggies, We've had some requests from moms who are going through difficult emotional times, before, during and after pregnancy. Some of you may be feeling alone, sad and anxious in an already challenging time. Some members would like to create a group where they can support each other and stay positive when it seems nearly impossible. Anyone interested in joining this group would comment here and then follow those women. Then you can look out for each other and send positive words of encouragement or just lend an open ear. One or two of you could also lead the group as well. Also, if anyone has a counseling background or would like to help out, please join, too. Yeah my milk didn't come in for a few days but the colostrum is there and is sufficient for them. The consultant will get you in same day or the next so it's quick, and my ins covered it

There are lactation nurses in the hospital, when I went home I couldn't get him to latch so I saw a lactation consultant and she was amazing! Never had another issue again

yes there should be people at ur hospital to help you or u can go to wic if it is near you n they have breast feeding classes and advisors to help u
