Let's test the theory for fun. How many mommas are 37 plus weeks and have not had sex regularly throughout the pregnancy are still closed or barely dilated compared to those that stayed very sexually active and making progress? Does sex really help with thinning and dilation? ready set go!!

@smdpmd, that's good. I feel like I'm going to rip open during labor because I haven't had sex throughout my pregnancy and I'm still closed at almost 40 weeks. My doctors says I'm really tight and my cervical exams hurt as a result.

I am 38 weeks and closed! haven't had sex since I conceived. the day I conceived was literally the last time my hubby and I were together! but I just woke up w leaky boobs go me! super exciting for now lmao

I'm 39 weeks today! & I haven't had sex all my pregnancy till now & im dilated 1cm (not much) but I'm 75% effaced & she's stationed at -1 ! but before I started I wasn't dilated at all & only 25% effaced & she was at -4!

@jashmen, lol I'm not even leaking yet at 39 weeks 3 days. I'm not with my child's father so we haven't been intimate but like twice my entire pregnancy

@marce88, same w me. and I feel the same about labor. I feel like either I won't dialate on my own or it will all happen at once. and I'm going to rip down there because ain't nothing been going on there for a while 😬

@jashmen, I know the feeling.. Oh well I'm just hoping for the best outcome they doesn't end with c-section lol
