does anyone know if u have to have a bassinet or can u just put ur baby in a cot from birth?

have wat ever u choose hun its ur baby :) babys grow so quickly so if ur gna go with a bassinet instead of wasting money on a brand new one hunt for a nice clean secondhand one that's wat my friend did for me :) and they easy too move from room to room..

No need to explain yourself, you do what's best for your family and what you're comfortable with. Just a side note though, make sure your cot is set on the highest level until Bub starts sitting up etc, then drop it down to the lowest setting, also if you're wanting to put bumpers up. Defiantly get the air wrap ones :) they're on sale at the moment at baby bunting stores and online 😁

@steph194, thanks im planning on getting a monitor, its just i dont have enough room in my bedroom for a bassinet to fit

Bub can go straight Into a cot, darl. For peace of mind i would get a monitor. And if you're breastfeeding, it's easier to have a bassinet next to you, but by all means, they're not a necessity. :)
