Lol I'll be lucky if I can keep my Dr from checking. I want as little interference as possible. have you firmly requested it or demanded your OB check if you really really want it?

My doctor doesn't check until 39 weeks unless you feel some contractions. She said their is no point if you are not feeling anything plus it could cause infection to be checking.

lol I had my Dr check at 36 weeks. I know it doesn't mean anything because my last pregnancy I was 2 cm dilated 70% effaced for a whole month before I was induced. lol its fun to hear you're dilated BUT you can also close back up too. sorry you weren't checked!

The problem with checking early from ehat i have read and been told is it leaves you open for infection which can be vety harmful. Is there a underlying reason that would make you believe that you are dialated for any reason? 35 weeks is a lil early.
