Anyone have BV and caught it early and was put on antibiotics and everything turn out okay?

I did at 6 weeks and so far everything has been great and bv hasn't returned

I've had BV with my last 2 pregnancies and have had it this time as well. From what my doctor told me it's pretty common and with not pregnant women it's usually not treated unless you have discomfort from it. With pregnant women the concern is you could go into labor early. Each time I've had it I took the antibiotics and it went away with no issues. I did have it a few times with my 3rd pregnancy and took both pill and vaginal cream and had a perfectly healthy pregnancy otherwise.

^^I agree. I had it with all 4 of my kids. Its very common. And you may want to see if you need to change the soap you use. I had to use Ivory

✋ went to ER with bad pressure and pains on Christmas eve.

oh good... i had my.first at 22 weeks due to chorio and so i was terrified when i got diagnosed with bv this.morning... have the antibiotics and will take them religously but im worried about the chance of chorio again... cervix didnt even look inflamed and when.they did an.ultrasound it was still pretty long and.closed... just praying we arent too late to prevent ptl...

@csp0355, I found out I had it this past weekend I have it because I went into early labor. Got to 4cm dialated and had an epidural. Got checked few hours later and my labor stopped and I went back to 1cm.

the way my doc explained it and from I've researched as long as it is treated before 27 weeks the chances are very slim...I just changed my soap to unscented dove and in have been bv free ever since @jessicagarmal

@jessicagarmal, you should be fine. My doctors never really seemed concerned when I got it and just told me to make sure I finish the antibiotics.

thanks for the help ladies... hopefully this gets knocked out... i go back in 2 weeks for more cervical.length checks and another culture to make sure its gone... after losing our first this seems way more scary then it probably should.be...@csp0355, @maya_rose
