At what age did you start feeding your baby food including rice cereal?! Just curious my daughters Pediatrician told me not until she is 6 months possible 5 months depending on her cues. I thought babies could have food starting at 4 months which she will be on the 20th.

@mrsmoore, oh ok when I do start I'm start slow like that just to see if she likes it.
It depends on the baby and how well they can hold their heads and that's why they check at the appointment my daughter didn't start eating solids until she was almost 6 months and now at 8 almost 9 she's eating finger foods.
yea I don't feed my baby food everyday more like if I see it I feed it to him but when he's at day care he gets some because he won't take a bottle so that's how they give him my milk haha
@supermom1104, oh ok! I just know some others mothers that started that early.
@mrsmoore, true every doctor is different. She never did say why but I figure it had to do with her digestion.
the stomach is just better developed by 4-6 months doesn't necessarily mean you have to give your baby food
I waited till 5 months almost but my doc said I could have at 4 months every doc is different Avery body will have different reasons for waiting and not waiting

@crunchymomma, My mom told me the same thing do not give in a bottle. Which I heard before was very bad. Well iI guess I will wait closer to 6 months or just start when she turns 6. Thank you.

yeah its about 6 months. the updated studies say never give rice cereal before 6 months, if at all, and absolutely never in a bottle. (yes some doctors still suggest this but it's because that was the protocol when they were in school and they aren't up to date with today's research)
@mika107, my son had reflux and has a heart condition and wasn't gaining weight
@mommaof2boysrebecca, yeah I know rice cereal can help as well. I tried the A.R. Enfamil that had rice startch in it do to constant spitting up, she didn't do well on it though.
@shaeewow3.29.15, really?! I know some mothers do it that early for bad acid reflux.
yeah I mean I had to give rice to my oldest but he had medical needs that called for it... but you are welcome

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
