don't over walk. omg it put me in so much pain with my first. I was 40 weeks, walking far for hours on my due date. I didn't have my son till I was 43 weeks. there's other ways. but your old 37. I'd let the baby come when he or she is ready.

Your mucus plug can come and go, just losing it alone is not indicative of impending labor. There is still some important growing to do. Yes, she would survive if born now, but these next couple weeks will help her THRIVE. I wouldn't try to induce labor until after your due date. However, nothing you can do naturally will kickstart labor until your body decides it's time. So, it is still good to prep with things like raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, exercise, certain foods, ball bouncing, sex, etc. Those won't hurt you at all, but they won't miraculously make baby come when it's not time. Enjoy the remaining time you have, lol. Trust me. We all get excited and impatient, but just relax. Stress releases cortisol, which can actually delay or complicate labor.

You can ask your Doctor to "strip your membranes" it isn't the most pleasant thing but it has been known to help. You can also drink Red Raspberry Leaf tea. I was very very impatient with my first, but it's true when they say when your baby is ready he/she will come! Good luck!
