QUESTION: When did you ladies transition your little one from a crib to toddler bed?

my youngest wouldn't sleep in a crib so I moved her to the toddler bed at 15 months

2 years old for both the oldest boys & probably the same for my one year old if I ever get him in his own bed

thanks @aek91 @angelkisses was just wondering because my little one us about to make a year old and stands up in his crib and can already reach over the bars just afraid he will fall out

yea I use to have a climber with the second one. I got her out quickly so she wouldn't fall.

may just put him in a toddler bed around his birthday then

currently going through the same question. my daughter just turned a year old last month, but she likes to stand up in her crib and I don't want her hurting herself. we're gonna get a toddler bed to test it out with naps and such, but I'm sure I'm going to wait until she is a little older and can maneuver herself off of things better. She can climb on things, but getting off she's a little clumsy.

do you have the mattress at the lowest slot on the crib?

My boys weren't climbers lol that's scary though maybe you could switch him sooner

@their.bomb.ass.mom, yes it has always been that way. he is just tall for his age according to everyone that sees him

@aek91, i am thinking about it. i call him my dare devil always getting into something. he can even reach in the garabage can and also tippy toes to try to open his grandmas bedroom door

That's my son too lol he loves taking all my dishes out of the cabinets in the kitchen & he loves climbing on the side table next to the couch! He scares the crap out of me! Ever since he learned how to get on & off the couch

yea. i am so not ready for that. we locked the cabinets so he couldnt get in them hut he tries to get in the ice box and dishwasher
