problem is I have health choice which is covered by the government so its not really good health insurance. & I figured my obgyn isn't that great cus he only gave two choices & I didn't want to get on birth control to begin with. but I will have to make an appt with my original doctor to talk to her about it because she knows my situation & me trying to get pregnant.
@mandiebby, my doctors put me on birth control last November I was on it for two months then my test results came back that the PCOS made me pre diabetic so I switch doctors to endocrinologist and he put me on metiformin ... He said it will regulate me and get me pregnant... So , switch doctors...
I have health choice & they cover my doctors appts & birth control.. My obgyn said that I only have two options which was get my eggs tested & all that stuff & it costs 500 to do all that & do a sperm test for my bf which is 250. we obviously cannot afford that all at once.. or I had to get on BC. so I chose bc... I cried.
hmmm, they tried the same with me with BC i told them no and found another doctor with PCOS the period normally doesn't regulate metformin helps lose weight and regulate your body:)
they told me I just have to stay on birth control until my periods are normal & if they don't then I have to go back. but I've been taking birth control for 4 days now & my period stopped the next day after taking the 1st pill. I also have to lose weight & quit smoking.. I just hope I can get off of BC as soon as possible.. they didn't tell me the degree of it. & I haven't taken metformin.
