Alright Ladies, I'm new to this app. I don't really have much girls to talk to about my pregnancy and questions besides nurses. But, I also have an amazing supporting husband. So I wanted to ask a question for all of you? I suffer from anxiety and depression since I was little. I am 33 weeks, almost 34 weeks pregnant and my anxiety has gotten so bad, and I don't understand why. Anyone have bad anxiety, do you have ways of coping? I notice it more when my husband sleeps during the day since he works third shift, and when he leaves at night for work.
No, I don't take medicine. I'll probably get back on something once I have my daughter. I wish I could take a bath! but I'm at risk for premature labor, so the doctors told me not to sit in a bath in case my water breaks 😞
are you on medicine for it? I stopped taking all mine when I got pregnant and its gotten so bad they put me on wellbutrin, they said it was the safest while pregnant. I feel your pain, taking a warm bath and listening to music helps me sometimes.
Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy. my chest gets heavy and I feel like if I am alone for one more second, I'm gonna die. I don't want to cause stress to my daughter. My husband works thirds, and sleeps most of the day.
Definitely understand how you're feeling ! Mine hasn't acted up this bad in a while. I'm still trying to figure out how to handle it. If you ever need to talk, I'm here !
okay I have anxiety super bad and I used to take ativan. but now I do this
I look at 5 things I can see, smell, hear touch and taste. it sounds stupid but you pick 5, things from that stuff, and you continue to look at them back and fourth. and look at them in a cycle like 1,2,3,4,5 and repeat 10 times(or more) it always helps me (:
I have horrible anxiety and depression and when I'm not pregnant I take 75mg daily of venlafaxine which helps me focus and stay calm and think through tough situations.
