First time posting... My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. I was on depo in 2014 so I related the infertility with the depo lingering as it is know to do in some women. After a year has past since I was due for another shot, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which makes it harder to conceive I guess and will be starting the leothyroxin hormone tomorrow morning. Just wondering if anyone out there is in the same boat? And if this prescription will help us get a positive!

Wow that's awesome! I'm glad you didn't have to go through the year wait for your son or the side effects

I find this to be so strange as I have been on depo since I was 16, I'm now 23, and I missed 1 shot and got pregnant with my son. Same with my daughter 2 years later. I did however get on mirena, which is an IUD, and it caused an ectopic pregnancy.

Me too!! Depo is terrible! I only had two shots and I went through crazy withdraws after I got off of it and my cycle is still screwed up 16 months later... Every month I regret taking those shots 😕

halfway on the same boat! I'm also a depo patient and haven't received an injection in 11 months. Have been ttc for 8 months now, haven't been prescribed anything. but depo has made this a really difficult journey for me 😧
