No worries your awake while they do it they give you a full spinal and it numbs your whole body you can't feel anything I had a c section with my daughter and the healing process was a little rough but you can't even tell I have a scar anymore :) you'll be fine and I'm sure the doctors will take great care of you :)

I think a c-section would be harder than a vaginal birth. I'm afraid of going under with anaesthesia so there's that, but the recovery time is longer and there's definitely still pain!! anyone with a c-section has my respect (:
