Who are y'all allowing in the room when your baby is born??

With the birth of my son it was just my fiancé (baby's father). We asked to have time just us to bond with our baby. What an amazing moment and so glad I did it that way! My parents and his sister waited in the waiting room and joined us after. Will do the same with my daughter.

i feel over whelmed too. my step mom, best friends, childs father that im not with. everyone wants to be there and im like ok this is awkward.

I'd rather no one be there but my boyfriend talked me into letting him there since it's his baby too. But I don't even want anyone in the waiting room.

I'm not with the father anymore but every time my mom brings it up she always adds a comment saying oh how this person would love to be there! Feel like I'm getting over whelmed!

I'm having a c-section so in the OR will be my husband. then in recovery will be my husband, mom & dad. plus my husband's parents will either switch off to come in my room for a few minutes or wait until I'm in my own room.
