I really want to have another baby so I can be done for awhile you know? I'm young so I want to have two kids back to back then wait like 5 years then maybe consider another one. I really want another baby but my mother is insisting against it. I'm also worried about what others will think. But I'm 19, Married, And have my own house with my husband. So I don't know what's holding me back. Any advice mommys?
@peaceinfall, We have the funds. We even have an extra room in our house because we want another child. But honestly I don't know if I'm ready mentally, You know?
Ah I'm in the same boat! Except I'm planning on baby #3. I say go for it. You're married and financially stable. I got planned my first when I was 18. Then planned my second when he was 9 months old. I too was worried about what people would say. In the end it's my kids that matter. My husband and I have always wanted 3 kids. I feel like if we space them out too far they won't get along well. That's why we will be ttc when my daughter turns one. I say you wait until your baby is closer to 9-10 months old though. They will be the best of friends! @josmedellin
it makes sense. my daughter was about 4-5 months as well when I got pregnant again. the fears are normal. just don't stress yourself out over it! and not all pregnancies are the same either. in the end, do what makes y'all happy, as far as your moms or whoever's opinion, they're irrelevant.
@valerie_jean, I think that is my problem. :/
@crunchymomma, Yeah I stopped working when I was 3 months pregnant. My husband has a great job so I'm not worried financially. My dad was telling me to go for it and get it over with. But ugh girl, I'm so torn.
You're married, in your own home, with your husband. you're a grown adult, your mom has no say.
anything you do, she will learn to live with and be happy for you.
I'm 20, with a 3 year old daughter, me and my boyfriend have a new house, I have a brand new 2016 car, he has a new car, I even stopped working, and we just had a baby 3 weeks ago. my family learned real quick when I turned 18 and moved 800 miles away from all of them that I will do what I want to do to make myself happy. they got over being upset about things and now they support me 100% and are beyond happy for me. your family will do the same it just may take time. you need to do what makes YOU happy. not everyone else.
@their.bomb.ass.mom, My husband is ready for another one. But I'm just worried. My daughter is only 4 months right now. I think because I had a complicated pregnancy that I'm so worried about my next one. I don't even know if I'm making any sense lol
I think the only thing that's holding you back is that you're worried about what others will think and what your mother is saying. It's ultimately up to you and your husband. If you two think you can handle two babies, then go for it. Don't worry about the others. If they aren't feeding, taking care of them, or spending money on them then who gives a shit girl !
it's ultimately your choice. I'll be 20 this July and I'm due next month with my second child, that was planned. they'll be 14 months apart. I got a lot of crap for being so young, but we live in our own house, and that was our choice. it definitely kind of hinders our, well my thoughts on another child since I don't want a huge age gap in them but I definitely don't want to have another child immediately again. While yes we did plan this, getting pregnant again so soon has taken a lot out of my body. 😂 as you can imagine. either way though, if you feel you're ready, then go for it. no one can tell you no.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
