Moms that had csections how did you deal with the delay in skin to skin and not being the first to hold your baby thats like the number one thing im excited about i will be so upset that i wasnt the first and didnt get that automatic skin contact.
Skin to skin Did you mamas do skin to skin right after pushing your little ones out or did you wait until you got too your recovery room? I never did this with my first as I didn't know shat only being 16. I would really love to experience this and so much more this time around.
Should I take her to the hospital? I breastfed skin to skin and pulled away to see this
Any breastfeeding mamas that can give me some insight on it? How does it feel when you first start? This is my first baby. I want to do breastmilk for sure but not sure if I want to do skin to skin. I'm kind of leaning towards just pumping and bottle feeding him

Raptor is doing GREAT!! He is off of everything (as you can see :)) except for a feeding tube and an IV!! I got discharged today so I could get to my baby boy! I got to hold him skin to skin and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.

I was super upset, but my husband held him first. my son and I already had a connection while being pregnant and him and my husband didn't. so knowing my son was with my husband and bonding with him made it a lot better. @leiibaaaby

Thats cute and understandable but theres no guarantee my childs father will make it in time cause he lives in another state for school so most likely it will be one of my family members so i don't think i would feel that way I would be totally jealous lol @nichole_lynn

yes I was sad, mostly because my husband wasn't there, but my sister was so she was with him the whole time:) @leiibaaaby

I was so upset that everyone else got to love on my baby before I did. it took HOURS before I got to hold my baby for the first time.... it killed me...

When I went into labor I made my mom promise that if I had a c section that she wouldn't let anyone else hold her before me, luckily that didn't happen, but maybe work something out saying you want to be the first to hold her,

I had a c section and was able to do skin to skin right away before they took her to recovery where she was waiting for me and I got to breastfeed right away as they were cleaning me up. see if your hospital can do that.

Thanks i will definitely ask . I know one of the hospitals i was looking at said they only allowed that if it was a slow day or they had the extra staff to leave a nurse with me . Other than that i would just have to wait till recovery @eskawho

with my hospital they didn't even had a nursery so a nurse was with her at all times anyways...by the time I got to recovery she was all cleaned up and ready for me.

My hospital said my arms would be free and I could hold my daughter and do skin to skin while they see me back up if she doesn't have any medical issues!
