We decided on a meaningful middle name for Ajani! Uthayasooriyan. It means "rising sun" in Tamil (my husband is Indian) and was my husband's dear brother's name. He and Uthaya were close, and Uthaya passed away last year. (We adopted his 4 kids if you're just tuning in.) Our son will very likely be called Soori. He'll need an entire sheet cake to spell that out but the joy on his daddy's face when I told him I love the name (I do--all our kids have Tamil or Hindi middle names!) was priceless.
