you have to pay a 3rd party company to get them. they're basically just for fun so insurance companies generally won't cover the cost and they usually aren't affiliated with a doctors office.

I think you have to go somewhere special and pay for it.

You usually have to go to a whole different company to get those things and you have to pay for them.

the only way the obgyn does it is if they think the baby has something wrong is what I was told

I had my done at my 20wk ultrasound my first one i had to pay for my pics after and I picked my pics of them in a book or just pics of on a cd

do any of you know how much they run for?

My Drs office does both so maybe ask if they offer it or if they know somewhere that does

We did ours at a place that specializes in them and 4d.

well now that you mentioned that my sister had a 3D done and didn't pay for hers and she was high risk also, so yes Maybe that's why... and your welcome she's going to be precious

My dr office gave me a 3D pic with my anatomy ultra sound but I went and got one done at a place that specializes in it that I had to pay $120 for. I got a CD full of pictures and a bunch printed too

Insurance doesn't cover 3D. Ill be paying $50 Thursday when I go

we were not offered one. if we want to get one we have to pay outta pocket and do it on our own.
