Are there any depression medications or helpers that are 100% safe during pregnancy? Really struggling.

Not that I know of, my doctor told me to take half of the pill I'm taking , I haven't taken them though I have been trying to eat less junk & have been eating a handful of almonds! It's not the same as the pills but it's some help for me at least!

@momma1416, None love. But I take venlafaxine when not pregnant.

Sam-e is a vitamin you could look it up and do some research on it also talk to your doc it is supposed to help with depression.

@momma1416, I take 75mg daily of venlafaxine and I love it. it helps me focus and keep my priorities straight.

@momma1416, you can start venlafaxine as soon as you stop breastfeeding I believe

@mamanelson23, that'll be a while then lol and @shann, from what I've seen it can only be used in the third trimester, but I will talk to my doctor
