Has anyone newborn baby had jaundice to the point they baby need phototherapy ??? I need some…

my baby is a month old now and I had that scare when he was about 5 days old.

my son was in a light bed for a week. I know its scary but ur little one will be fine.

I was born with jaundice. Baby will be fine. I know it is scary to think anything is wrong with your baby, but it is actually fairly common and it is not a difficult fix. <3

My son when through it a week and a half after he was born. He's 3 months now and a happy, healthy little baby. Your baby will be just fine :)

@mommytoblu, yes, my son was born at 36 weeks and had jaundice very bad. He had to be in the light bed thing for the 4 days we were at the hospital. IDK if you live anywhere where the sun shines in your house at all but if so just let the sun/light hit your LO for 10 minutes or so it helps TONS... here is a bad example because the sun is in his eyes (try to avoid that lol)

@mommytoblu, breastfeed(or formula) as much as possible hydration is important for your liver to function properly (adults too but more importantly for newborns for their organs to work correctly )

My baby had it and she's fine now. I was worried at first but it seem to not bother her...looks like she was relaxing at the beach.

My son was born with it also but it was slight but he was ablle to go home so i was told to put him in the sunlight and i return to the doctor in a couple of days and it disappeared
