Ladies how long after you filled your taxes did you get approved??

We haven't filed this year yet. But last year we got approved the night we did them

@yadds, yeah it was accepted that night we did them but hasn't been approved by irs yet

I filed mine on Saturday and the IRS page is still saying to wait 24 hours. my guy did them electronically. but I wonder if it has to to with it being Saturday and not a business day.

Haha . Kidding I read it wrong. I wanna say it took us a few day. My sister did hers already this year and it was no more then a week I believe ,

it usually comes about 14 days.

i filed mine last night and like 15 minutes after i was done they were approved

@rgriner77, accepted but I doubt approved that quickly if so your lucky

@kmc29, its always been that fast. i use turbo tax every year and the longest its ever taken is like a day. i got an email saying it was accepted, then another saying it was approved then another for my order confirmation for the card it comes on.

@rgriner77, I filled the 5th I got a notification that federal was accepted that night then later that night my nc state was accepted then 2 days later my sc state was accepted but nothing since. I chose direct deposit.

@kmc29, thats weird. it shouldnt take more than 48 hours, at least thats what the email said. i only had federal though so maybe thats why? not sure how long state takes to approve it.

The online tax system crashed!! Not sure if it's back up yet or not. If not, they will be submitted and approved as soon as it's running again so no need to resubmit. @rgriner77

I filed on the 26th and it was accepted that night. but it wasn't approved until the day before yesterday. I used TurboTax as well.
