Last year my boyfriend got me flowers and then told me we were leaving on a trip. He took me to see Crater Lake (which is breathtaking) and we stayed at a hotel near there they had a live band at the bar so we went and partied without the need to drive so we both were able to drink. We made breakfast together and I made us lunch. It was the best Valentine's I've ever had. This year we're saving for our baby but we'll probably go out on a dinner date. It'll be just as nice but not as expensive, as long as it shows your love it could be something handmade 😊 I'm sure he'll love it.

I like it to go both ways...it's more fun that way. But totally up to you! :) Random, but in Michigan they have Valentines Day for women, and Sweetest Day for men (3rd Sat. in Oct).

@jana.bear, my hubby hasn't had a relationship like ours before! like I keep him on his toes, and I motivate him to be a better man! he's texting me saying he has a great weekend planned out for us and I'm going into shock mode Cuz 1:I'm broke to buy him something. -&- 2:He's telling me to show him how much I love him!!

@marce88, That's how I'm feeling.. however I also agree w/both @mrspavlides -&&-@pregg0megg0 !! He always tells me to express my love verbally, spiritually, and not always sexually! I'm not an expressive type of woman, so this is why its so tough.

I always try to do something for my husband to show he's appreciated. I usually get him a T-shirt from his favorite company and last year I ordered Russell Stover chocolates that he couldn't find at any local store. I always try to do something he's not expecting. He said it makes him feel amazing because his ex wife never did anything nice for him.
