Hi everyone. I work full time as a nanny and both kids just tested positive for strep. Is this a threat to my baby? Should I take a day off until they are no longer contagious?

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Definite threat. I would take at least 24-48 hours off from work, until the kids had been on antibiotics for a full 24 hrs. Strep is very dangerous in pregnancy , and its also very contagious.

@sarahemccormick, yes it's contagious right now and I have been very sick with it lately. it's no fun

i had strep throat while pregnant they treat you for it and it goes away

It is contagious untill fever free and on antibiotics for 24 hrs. You definitely don't want to be around it till then!

it's contagious... but it's not going to kill you... yes strep throat hurts like a birch and will make you miserable but meds will clear if up within days... just don't let them breathe directly in your face AND WASH YOUR HANDS... lol
