So ftm here..and I'm 38 2days. Is it normal to still feel like this isn't real? Like I know it's happening and I know she will be here soon..but I just don't feel like I completely understand that I'm gonna have a little baby, my little baby here. I just don't know!

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

I dont think reality hit until an hour after I gave birth. it was like woah! I'm holding a baby! That I made!

Yeah I know how you feel! I just thought further along the feeling would go away and it hasn't at all. I still feel like it's not happening but I know it is. it's the hardest thing to explain lol @bjuge

FTM here and I feel the same way. I'm only 14 weeks, but just the thought that this child is mine. I have a 6 year old step daughter who i have had since she was 2, but I feel like.I'm just looking at someone else's child in an ultrasound. It deff hasn't registered yet! @babydovesmommy

I'm going to the hospital tonight to have my daughter tmrw morning and I still don't feel like it's completely real! I'm a FTM so I'd say it's normal. Don't worry mama you'll be just fine :)

yes it is. when I had my first it was like I was taking care of someone else baby it was all I strange. totally normal
