Had a letter in the post today from the horrible midwife I had while in labour. She was apologising for the way she acted. Hmmm
They gave me a pessary at 12pm and checked me at 6.45pm and said I was 2 cm enough to break my waters and when she did for the half an hour I was in agony tried gas and air and it wasn't something I could do (made me feel sick) they said my water could have possibly have gone when I've been in the bath of going for a wee 😕 then i ending up having an epidural but they made me wait till 9am this also didn't work and within the space of that I'd gone from 2 cm to 10 but they never checked me until late 11.15pm then I started to push he was born at 12.04am it was horrid It's put me off having anymore for a while 😢 @winterbaby95 @nashkay @abiruth
That sounds horrible @tuftyturtle some times I think they need to be retrained xx
@winterbaby95, No it's with a hook. It's called an amino hook or something
@abiruth, this has happened to me in both of my labours. Each time it was about 2 hours before they listened. it was much more serious in this labour as rather than listening and checking me...They told me I was over reacting to the pessary and were about to give me an injection to stop my contractions. as they brought the injection over my husband noticed that I was bleeding heavily so they quickly checked me and the head was almost out! imagine if I hadn't of been hemmoraging...They would have just stopped my contractions when the head was half out! it sounds quite common that midwives think they know best and don't listen
@shannon391 I swear they do it with their fingers though? Didn't realise they did it with a hook! 😯😯 Xxx
@shannon391 Oh my gosh! That is terrible! Is he ok now?? xxx
That's horrible. I'm sorry to hear what they did @shannon391 xxx
@abiruth Yeah, I was 1cm when she checked me. But then after I felt like something wasn't right..she eventually checked me an hour later and I was 8cm's! Not sure why these midwives don't listen to you...they were so surprised I had dilated that quickly! xx
I had a doctor try and break my waters for half an hour and when she finally stopped she said I didn't even have any water.. ended up scratching my sons head with the hook 😢 @winterbaby95 @abiruth xxx
They are horrible at times. I told her at 12 I need to push she said at 2 she would check to see how dilated I was and I still wasn't able to push until 3. Apparently it was all to prepare me for being a mum. I was like wtf. They don't think about how they would like it if they were spoken to like we were @winterbaby95 xx
@abiruth Oh my gosh! That is disgraceful!! 😬😬😬😬 When a particular midwife checked to see how dilated I was...I was in a lot of pain with it! I was in tears and cried for 5 mins after aswell! It was more painful than labour!! 😬😬 She said "You are a big girl...you are about to have a baby" Didn't like that she said that! I was going to snap at her but didn't Xx
She left me for 2 hours when I needed to push and shouted at my partner while I was pushing @winterbaby95 xx
What did she do? It is good that she has apologised! x x x
Kylie Jenner
Alright everyone! Place your bets. Kylie Jenner just had her baby February 1st and the name of her baby girl hasn’t been disclosed yet. She had a baby girl and I’m guessing she names her....

She JUST had a baby and looks freaking gorgeous! Holy crap!

@shannon391, sounds horrible. My induction was slooooow and shit but my actual experience of the entire thing was pretty positive and the midwives I had were fab so I can't complain and I'm grateful they listened to me, I listened to them and ultimately we got her out safely. X
