Serious mommy mode kicks in once one of your little ones get sick. The sound of my daughter coughing stresses me out so bad.
Anybody have any tips on helping a toddler with a cold and cough since there aren't much medicines she can take?
@royalmommy, Yes my toddler had rsv when she was younger and had to be hospitalized for a week in the picu and it was so hard on me thats why im scared of the newborn getting sick, i dont wanna go thru that again
@mommyto2girls72, use regular or baby Vicks on the chest and feet and put socks on. Even if it's not congestion the Vicks will relieve the cough a bit.
Oh ok. My 7yr old use to be sick n coughing all the time with a cold. Always had a fever to go with. I was very worried also because she had Rsv too. But she'll def grow out of it. For now tell the daycare your concern and make sure they keep the kids n surfaces clean. Same thing at home keep hands clean to protect the newborn.
@royalmommy She doesn't have much congestion luckily but that cough is just non stop. Her doctor thinks she may have asthma but she's too young to officially diagnose that. She comes home sick from daycare every other week and I hate it! I wish she didn't have to go but mommy and daddy both work full time. I'm only home now because I just had my newborn. I'm so scared my newborn will get sick too.
@mommyto2girls72, you're welcome
