You normally check in about 3 hours before surgery, so paperwork, then they get you gowned for surgery and monitor you and the baby before you go in for surgery. They give you meds so you don't get nauseated. Then when it's surgery time they take you in, numb you and everything happens pretty fast after that. I'm having my 3rd c section in May. @paris055
