@ginag918, sure, i just figured id leave this here for mommies who are curious. If you are going to do more theres a list of ones that are necessary for school by the state unless you're in a state that allows opposition for medical, philosophical, or religious reasoning. I'm deciding against the Tdap but my docs are sorta pushy. If I vaccinate my kid it won't be until after he's 2 and that's only if I'm not homeschooling. people say its irresponsible and could get others sick, but if the others are vaccinated, why do they care? Because they're not certain of their effectiveness. I have a friend who's never had pertussis until after she got the vaccine. they're not 100% and they carry a lot of risks. not everyone can metabolize their ingredients. That's why some get really sick and some don't.

@lil_bigmama, yeah its scary plus there are ingredients some people are more sensitive to or allergic to but they don't ask to see the ingredient list. but doctors also don't offer that info :/

I agree people should do there research. Im not for all vaccines but you should definitely get your baby a tdap shot . Im certified in immunizations and if you dont get any i would definitely get that and whooping cough .

my daughter has sickle cell and as I'm reading and learning about that some vaccines I've looked into day you shouldn't get them if your immune system is impared well technically hers is so but like you said the docs are pushy and I'm like if she has an impaired immune system as you have prescribed me antibiotics for her to take to avoid catching infections because of it then explain why it's ok for her to get all these vaccines? they can't so I'm thinking when she's two or in school or day care she can get them she has an in house care giver which I'm trying to keep until she is 2 or I make enough money to hire a full time nanny while I work they try to scare me into the vaccines because of her condition which she's had no issues yet and I fear the vacs may bring them on but I'm not letting them bully me any more! I'm trying to do my homework. The only thing that Makes Me want to get them is because I have a 13 and 8 year old who are in the school exposed to kids and germs which is where strep throat and rotavirus and ish like that comes from

i'm sooo glad to see this topic brought up on this site! i felt like i was the only one! my boyfriend is 22 years old and has never had a vaccine and has never gotten more than a cold his entire life thanks to being breastfeed as an infant and having a healthy diet his entire life. never was aloud to eat fast food or junk food, never had the desire to either since he's so accustomed to eating real wholesome food... of course a child's immune system will be weak and at risk if you feed them McDonald's and tv dinners and sodas and junk food, not vaccinating is a choice that is more than just not getting vaccines, it's ensuring your child is being taken care of to the fullest extent and living the healtiest life possible. i studied nutrition and vitamin therapy a few years ago for my own benefit, so big pharma is a huge joke to me.

@ginag918, you're so right about the impaired immune system. The thing is vaccines are another way the US makes money. so safety isn't their first concern. @leiibaaaby I don't agree with giving vaccines earlier than 6 months of age. Babies can't produce antibodies until 6mo so giving your child a vaccine before that point is pretty pointless considering the point of a vaccine is so your body can produce antibodies against whichever disease they administer. It puts them at risk for complications. simply delaying all vaccines in Japan made their infant mortality rate drop. @tiffanigypsy8 I thought I was the only one also! and I agree. many people don't get vaccines and are actually healthier because of it. What people don't understand us a vaccine does not 100% prevent you from getting a disease. like I said for some individuals, it makes them more at risk for contacting it than before. Other countries give way less vaccines than the US and I was reading it's twice as likely for an infant to die in the US than European, middle eastern, or southeast Asian countries. Other factors play a part but one of the biggest differences between the US and other countries when it comes to infant mortality is our vaccine schedule. Big pharma will do anything to remain on top. including brainwashing the masses. its up to us to read between the lines and read research studies from other countries that don't have such a secretive government. Why else do you think despite the research of marijuana being a great medicine for thousands of diseases there is still bad press? Because they know marijuana could easily replace and has replaced many medicines for individuals. Making them lose money.
