got to see my twins today. their very good. I think I've leaned out away from IUGR. we're still watching once a week in case of ttts. but the babies are looking great, fluid looks great. Baby A is just a bigger baby at this stage. but he's prefectly fine. baby A is 9cm and baby baby is 6cm. once we get to 28 weeks the ttts goes out the window and I'll be scheduled every two weeks. but we will be watching out for early labor. 37 weeks is what we're hoping for. but if the babies were to come early, the nicu would take great care of them. just so happy to know my babies are doing great. my doctor was very happy with everything today. that makes me very happy and less worrisome.

what's ttts? I'm having twins I'm 14 weeks and they measured the exact same last ultrasound I have another one Wednesday. gonna beg the tech to tell me to gender.

@double_mommy, its twin to twin transfusion. its only in twins that share a placenta. I'm having mono Di Twins. their in two separate amniotic sacs. one baby could get more then the other baby, with unequal sharing. causing one amniotic sac to suction closer to one baby. there's alot of info on it. so you'll have to look it up. they usually start checking by 16/weeks. but my obgyn was a little curious. I saw it before she said anything. my baby B was closer to the wall scrunched up with less amniotic fluid and baby A had so much. which is bad on both babies. baby a would be getting way too much blood which could cause cardiac arrest. twins are all high-risk. mono di twins an twins who share everything are both very high-risk and just have to be watched closely. thankfully my doctors been telling me the babies are looking great and stable everytime we see them. does let me know what could happen. but its always best to know a head of time to prepare yourself. even though my babies are the same exact weight their fine. most of the times twins are born that way. as long as my babies are healthy and everything is okay, I'm happy. I saw my genders at 14 weeks, only because I'm going to a high-risk doctor. your obgyns equipment isn't as good to be able to see the babies genders. most of the time you'll have to wait till your 20 weeks. or the genics blood test could possibly tell you.

@double_mommy, what ever happens. just keep yourself educated and very informed with everything. don't stress yourself out too much. I've definitely talked with lots of woman who have actually been through IUGR and ttts. all of the babies are doing great. doctors have the best equipment now adays to care for us and our babies. you can look up multiples groups on Facebook, and ask parents any questions you have.

di di...the ultrasound tech told me that they each have their own placentas and the membrane is thick so they're fraternal. @shannaa24

@double_mommy, aww. that's really really great. you won't have to worry about anything. they'll both get their nutrition and everything they need. maybe you'll get a boy and a girl.
