glucose test tomorrow what should I expect and do I eat before or after

eat before but eat something light. Don't have any sweets the day before.

I wasn't able to eat 12 hours prior. Only water. Watch your carbs and sugars, those could really away your results. You'll have to drink the sugary drink in under 5 minutes & then an hour later they will prick or finger or draw your blood & let you know your results. If you fail you have to come back for the 3 hours test

When you skip meals your body makes extra sugars to make up for it. so definitely eat breakfast. just nothing fatty or sweet.

my doctor said not to eat!! they want to see what your sugars are at without interference from food and drinks (besides water) and then they give you a yucky drink thats pretty much a melted popsicle in my opinion to see how your body takes a large amount of sugar in a short time

I ate peanut butter toast before I went in and passed just fine. Like everyone else was saying, eat before you go just nothing big or sweet.
