Ok, just gonna say this... Words hurt. On top of that there are hormones flying all over the place, pp depression, etc. Also people are fighting their own demons. So with that in mind, when you post or comment something try to remember that. Think will this offend someone? Will this hurt someone's feelings? Am I explaining fully what I mean? Will this start an argument? Getting mad doesn't solve anything, just makes it worse. We are all mature moms, mom's to be, and trying to become moms. How can we set an example to our children to be respectful and responsible members of society if they see their mom's (and dads) acting childish. Our world is already full of hateful and scary things. Don't you want different for your babies? You protected them while they grew inside your body, you gave them life, why not make it a good and happy life? So all I'm saying is yes vent, rant, get on your soapbox whatever. Just choose your words carefully that's all. I will be the first to admit I need to do this myself. I catch myself getting hurt or offended by something that someone said and I just react. I can't do that anymore. I have 2 lil boys who if they see that will grow up thinking that this type of behavior is acceptable, and it's not. I have to realize that not everyone knows my story, nor will they, so I have to remember that when I see something that hurts me. So with all that being said, I will apologize if I've ever said anything that was taken the wrong way. If I ever say anything that is wrong please tell me, let me know. I will apologize and fix it as best as I can. It's what I want to teach my children, that being wrong is ok, and when someone tells you step up and admit it. I'm not pointing fingers. Just stating something that I think is a lil bit important. So I'm going to step off my soapbox and return your attention to your regularly scheduled program! lol!!! 😆😆

@aek91, exactly. Now I understand people have so many things going on in their lives that they sometimes don't think things thru all the way but when it seems to constantly happen, something needed to be said

It's sad that this even has to be posted as a reminder! Like we are all grow & this lesson goes back to kindergarten or 1st grade!! If you having nothing nice to say don't say anything at all! But some people just don't think or care to use their brains!

yes and that's all I was meaning @liveitwithlove that I've seen lots of "attacking" and there are many ways to get your point across without belittling someone. I just wanted to have people think a bit. if that makes sense. @morganmomma yes this is supposed to be a supportive community, not to bash. I mean you see something you don't agree with just scroll past or whatever. It just seems to be more n more bashing and less and less uplifting

@twinmamma2015, yes, I won't personally attack someone because that's really crappy to do! Honesty is best but there are ways to be nice.

exactly. if you give birth vaginally or csection you're still a mom. a mother to me is someone who has their child and cares for them. I formula feed but I wish I would have breastfed. he just didn't latch. people are starting to be more closed minded and it's shitty. were all mom's striving for the same thing, support one another. not bash!

@morganmomma, yes there are women who say c-section mom's are less than a mom than vaginal mom's (which isn't true), formula mom's are bad mom's (I formula feed) but all I'm trying to say is just be careful. I'm glad you get what I'm trying to say.... 😊

@liveitwithlove, I'm the same way, I always try to remember that everyone is fighting their own crap. I am an honest person, I just try to be nice about it, like I try to word it so it doesn't sound like I'm "attacking" them.

for the most part I agree with this. mom bullying is a thing and it's real crappy. especially since we're all more hormonal more so than men lol.

I'm not Willy Wonka so I don't sugarcoat anything. It's just a part of my personality that I've never been able to cover up. For me if people are offended by anything I say, that's something they need to work on. But on that note I'm generally a really nice and easygoing person so I don't ever have anyone complain to me/about me. When I see stuff on here that I don't like I just scroll past.

Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..
