is it safe to get nails done in first trimester?

my Dr won't let me touch or be around any kid of chemicals

You have to be careful during the first trimester. You can get away with more things once you're in the second and third trimesters

if your worried wear a mask.

I got mine done for my baby shower in my 3rd trimester and my baby is fine. she was born colic but that was an easy fix and she had belly issues but I did as well.

It's not recommended in the first trimester because of the strong fumes. If your doctor told you no then I would listen to your doctor.

If you're going to do it anyways then tell the nail person that you're pregnant and need good air flow (fan or something) to keep the fumes down

I got my nails done during my first trimester & my boy is perfectly healthy! My sisters did when they were pregnant to & there kids are perfect! Do what you think is best for you & your baby.
