What are your opinion in throwing your own baby shower? does it sound needy or lame

I was going to throw my own baby shower because I got mad at my aunt because she was trying to do it at the last minute but she finally moved the date up for me lol

I did both my own showers. I knew what I wanted and what I didn't want. it was easier that way lol not lame at all

I'm doing my own shower and my mother in law is throwing me one with her friends, which is why I'm doing my own so my friends can attend

anyone who offered to throw it or whatever I told them they could help me plan it but I don't like surprises at all and definitely didn't wanna hurt anyone's feelings lol @jujulove13

I'm doing all the main planning for.my shower and keeping more control this time but technically my best friend is 'hosting' it. lol
