Yep- told my SO last night some symptoms feel better but now I have new ones. He says my favorite phrase now is "I don't feel good" and he's definitely right. :-( @hermommy
agreed 100% mine likes to tell me "oh it can't be that bad" makes me want to attack him bc as much as I'm happy about having a healthy baby girl i feel like death constantly I haven't felt this bad since I had cat scratch fever and a bad asthma attack combined @rgaine they don't understand
@hermommy, I like hanging out with the MIL every so often as she helps kick him in gear and only wants me to sit, eat, and nap. Ha! Before we told her at 17 weeks he was a nightmare. Now that my belly is obvious he's coming around (slowly).
aww yay I'm glad you have a sweet mother in law in my first marriage mine was a damn monster!? 😂 girl my SO doesn't let me do anything. lol i get in trouble for breathing to hard but yet pregnancy can't be that bad he says hah@rgaine
@hermommy, She speaks Amharic and little English so that probably helps. I've only known her for about 8 months so that probably helps. My ex MIL was also very nice but just kinda odd. Thankfully mommies always love me and I've gotten lucky. It's their sons that are a pain in my neck. ;-) Your SO sounds confused--- it's not bad but you're extra fragile so don't move or breathe. In my SO's culture the men do nothing except work hard and the women cater to them... He's still getting his rude awakening and I have to remind him shoveling snow is not good for our baby, etc. He's a good guy but would rather everyone else do everything for him.
