Having worked managing a tattoo shop from the time I was 17 to the time I was 24, why why why why why why would you let ANYONE tattoo you out of your house?! If they don't have a spot in a shop, a license, and EXPERIENCE besides their cousin Ray Ray down the street, they aren't worth a damn! You end up with tattoos that look like shit and nothing like what was intended.

Very true. My husband learned the hard way. But I also learned that sometimes even when you do go to a shop it doesn't always turn out right... :(

@joywzeiter2016, that's very true. a good place will have portfolios to look through up front so you can judge for yourself if you wanna use them or go somewhere else. I have a couple of bad ones that needed covering because I was in such a hurry to get them

Yep!!! I have one on my wrist and it makes me so mad. I constantly have to explain to everyone what it is..

I got my first at a shop but my second big thigh one done at my friends house where she tattoos all the time. I was lucky I guess considering mine looks good and doesnt need to be covered.

I cringe every time I see one... especially those "tattoo artists" who post their work online 😂😂😂
