Debating on putting the babies crib in my room or my daughters. I want it in my daughters because it would look nicer there than in mine and because I want them to be close bond wise. The reasons I would put it in my room is because my daughter is in pre-k and I don't want her to loose any sleep from the baby crying at night? Any one else gone/going thru this?
@juslatteadri, I am going to do what sparnell suggested the crib will go in my daughters room. but I'm going to have a bassinet in my room as well.
same as yours but my daughter is ADHD , sleep walks, so I'm worried about baby sharing room @bigfoot
@sparnell, lmao your just so damn logical! Seriously thank you && my hubby thanks you too because this could have been a hour long argument and we probably wouldn't have even came up with anything half as good as you suggested.
@bigfoot, if the moving crib around is a big issue put the baby in your room in a pack n play or bassinet until summer
@sparnell, I almost forgot about summer. plus I'm pretty sure I'm just overt thinking it. this nesting phase has me in a " It has to be done or decided right this minute!" attitude.
@mw1620, right plus the night time feedings aren't going to last forever. if I don't put it in there now it'll just take even longer for my daughter to get used to sharing a room, and then I'll have to take the thing apart to get it in her room and out of mine.
If it were me... I would put the crib in my room until school was out for the summer. It gives your oldest the ability to still get a full nights sleep and when schools out your baby will only be 4 months old and sleeping more and be able to interact with your oldest. Just my opinion
Maybe keep the crib in your room then once the baby sleeps through the night put the crib in your daughters room
I would start with a pack n play in your room then when baby is sleeping through the night put her in sisters room
