okay, I know this has nothing to do with babies, but, what do you ladies think "verbal abuse", and "mental abuse" is? I know everyone's definition of it might be differnt, just want to see what everyone thinks.

Talking down , screaming, name calling, teasing, manipulation , mind games, cursing at you , putting you down , list goes on .... If your in that get out its just as bad as him hitting you and that always comes next @dixie1994
I think they can go hand in hand. verbal abuse is in my mind saying rude things to someone which if its verbal abuse about a person's character or appearance or something that tries to break down someone's confidence that turns into mental abuse. Mental abuse in my opinion is mind games. Grooming you for mental control, because that's what an abusive person needs is control. I was ripped away from my family before I even realized what had been happening because of his mind games so I was basically alone for the abuse to continue, which is exactly what they feed off of.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
