I got my son a kids kindle for Christmas. Well he's obsessed with it and wants to play literally the minute he wakes up! I've been thinking about doing a chore chart or something like that for him. He would have to complete those tasks before getting to play his game. He goes to school during the week so that's q little easier but fri-sun is hard while he is home all day!! What are some chores or anything I could have him complete?? He is 5 years old.

exp. you can give him 15min for easy one, 30 min for rest (or 10,20min depends how much from the list his doing already)

here is a little chore chart I looked up on Google. you could pick and choose what you think is best for your little guy. I think it's a great idea!

It is a kids kindle so it has were I can limit what he does. But you add like a parent account where you control everything you can download apps get on Internet all that, his account is strictly educational. But on my account I was stupid and added abc mouse & a zombie game. So he always wants to play the zombie game. I can't limit anything on my account. and that is becoming the problem. He has gotten better he used to throw a huge fit when I told him time to turn it off now he listens but I just thought maybe I could make some small goals for him to do before getting to play!! I also thought about telling him if he doesn't sleep in his own bed he doesn't get to play. He refuses to sleep in his bed so he sleeps on the couch... 😫

Thats a great idea. I would give him some simple tasks such as cleaning up his toys, making his bed (you can help him learn how), get laundry out of the dryer and carry it to wherever you fold yours (I sit on the couch and fold mine), help clean up a mess, or help walk the dog or get the household pet a bowl of food and water.
