Ugh. My throat is killing me. Anyone who got their tonsils removed as an adult have any tips? I hate the way the pain killers make me feel. π

i got mine out when i was 17...they say the older you are the longer it takes to heal...took me a whole month before being able to go back to school :( it sucks big time im sorry! honestly time is what you need right now

Aww. Nothing is working for meπ I've tried ice cream, jello, pudding, applesauce and soup. It's so hard to swallow. I'm gonna have to see if I can find the throat numbing lollipops! Thank you. @embersandash
I had mine out when I was 9 but I know what worked for me was ice cream or popsicles. Anything cold helped. Also I had gotten these throat numbing lollipops which were amazing but I don't know if they make them anymore or where to find them
