I forgot he's less than a week old. That number is perfect! 6 diapers starts at 6 days old. Also, I'd make sure you're not pumping until at least 6 weeks so you don't end up causing more issues accidentally.

Never give up on a bad day! As long as baby has 6 diapers in 24 hours they're getting enough. How's the latch look?

I gave up after a month because it hurt so bad. She wouldn't latch so I had to pump and it was bruising my nipples and making them bleed. God it hurt!! 😫

Try getting the baby to latch on to more of the boob. If the baby is latched only on the nipple it will hurt more.

check his latch and check for lip and tongue tie too momma. it's suppose to hurt for like a week or two.. they hit growth spurts and sleep regressions very soon after they come out. it's a learning experience for you both @carlyann00

it will get easier! Don't stress bc that can effect your milk supply! deffinently contact a lactation consultant for advice and tips. they can help!

Not everyones body accommodates babies, mine never did! Anyway, maybe you need to consult a lactation consultant?

Your body will accommodate babies needs. I know how easy it is to give them a bottle. But you got this. It's a special time you won't get back. Maybe try a little formula. But don't give up the boob.
