Being friends first helps but it's not necessary! haha My last boyfriend a fee years back and I met at a party started talking and dated. My boyfriend now, I met him we were good friends for about 5 months then started talking and dating. It all works out differently. He could just still be scared and hasn't quite soaked it all in yet that he's gunna be a dad. One thing I've been told and learned is that the moms always mature faster and realize more then dad's do.
He's had ONE serious relationship and while he was at home and going to work everyday, she was in the next county over living with another guy while "working" so he thinks I'll be the same. He's stuck in the past.
