I have rules like his dad can't watch the baby alone and they cannot go anywhere with the baby unless there is an emergency.

@beckaelyse, I don't want the babies to stay the night there, I don't want them taking the babies anywhere, when the babies are big enough I don't want them feeding them anything we don't approve of. My husbands nephew has been practically raised by them and I don't agree with some of their methods they consider lucky charms and soda dinner. His dad is disabled so they pretty much let his nephew run around and do whatever he wants. I want my kids to have some structure. They don't make him pick up after himself they tell him twice to clean up his toys that he throws everywhere and then they give up and just do it. I just don't agree with that at all. He can also be very violent because they think punching and kicking is funny. I don't want them instilling bad habits in my children.

I do.... I don't want any one to kiss my baby's face or hands... No one will visit till he's a month old, and you can't hold him till you have washed and sanitized you're hands :/

Go for it!!! I was wondering because my friend had a baby and she had rules like they weren't allowed to pick up the baby for the first three months, stuff like that. That is all reasonable that you want there is nothing wrong.

Yeah, I read somewhere that some one kissed a baby, and gave it mouth herpes, and the baby almost died, I couldn't handle that...

@beckaelyse, I've been thinking about how I want my babies to be handled after they are first born. I def want my time with them to bond and stuff but I also don't want to take away from my families excitement either. These will be my parents first grandkids so if I tell them they can't hold them I know my mom and dad would be so hurt!
