My doctor was really good about giving me pain medicine. I had 4th degree tearing and a 2nd degree episiotomy and I had hydrocodine and 800 mlg of ibuprofen. Call your doctor and tell them how much pain you're in

I ripped really bad inside & all I got was motrin. I couldn't sit for weeks.

that is crazy.. you should definitely talk to your doctor about it. if your pain was that bad in the hospital when you got released you shouod had got a better prescription than what you got.

STOOL SOFTNER!!! Or a laxative to make it easier... I had the worst freaking gas pains after for a while I would SCREAM AND CRY I couldn't move I had to roll out of bed and crawl around

@carlyann00, I'm not sure what hurts but rubbing your belly clockwise works very well, including constipated babies

@aiya.mommy93, I cant even get out of bed I'm in so much pain. They were giving me Percocet in the hospital, they had to double the dose for me to even be able to get up and walk so you would think they would realize I need more than ibuprofen for my pain.

i would complain also. i had ibuprofen at 600 or 800 and another medicine i forgot the name. one i was able to to take two and one one so i timed it where I could take them ay the same time and I felt no pain when on it i was able to get stuff done around the house sleep comfy and etc
