so I posted yesterday about being in alot of pain and not knowing if I was in labor and should go to the hospital... my doctor had told me it was normal to feel like I did, so I didn't go to the hospital.. but today my mom made me go... I've been absolutely MISERABLE!! So she took me to the hospital and they checked me, on Tuesday I was 2 cm and 60% effaced, today at L&D when I got checked they said I was almost 3 cm & 60% effaced So they sent me home... while there I had my first REAL contractions, multiple ones. I literally almost cried... like how can I be so MISERABLE and hurt so bad and not be farther than that 😞😞 the nurse told me that even if I'm in pain, if I'm not dialated enough or having CONSISTENT contractions that they have no choice but to send me home until I'm at least 39 weeks.. and that I could be feeling more pain bc I'm so tiny and ALL BABY... I feel so discouraged.. I want my babygirl to be as healthy as possible but I can't take this anymore lol I have decided to just not go back and deal with the pain, until I go to the doctor again on Monday. I will be induced Wednesday or Thursday at the latest though! that's something to look forward too as long as I can handle this pain until then!! I've been losing my mucus plug for 2 days now and it has to be completely gone with how much has come out 😂😂 I can definitely tell when the contractions are real now bc I have had multiple today and they are the most painful thing ever! I'm so excited for the next few days though!! 💕💕

@shandy69, girl... I have walked stairs for 2 hours, walked around the neighborhood for over an hour, walked around the mall for over an hour, and walked through Wal-Mart multiple times for an hour lol she's being stubborn lol but I'm not even 39 weeks yet so I'm just gonna be patient and not hurt myself lol plus she's laying on my sciatic nerve and I can barely walk now lol

If you cant handle the natural contraction pain, induction is 10x worse on the pain scale, meds won't even dull it out.

@ilyric, yes I've been told that. but I'm already dialated to 2cm so by thursday hopefully I won't have too far to go on pitocin

it doesn't matter how much dilation is needed with pitocin, it's horrid pain. speaking from experience.. especially after naturally going into labor medicated and unmedicated on 2 different births and having an induction... is rather do the unmediated natural labor all over again over the induction... but then again... in the next 6 weeks, i will be.

I got induced both times and I was fine no epidural or anything.

@jasminemaye, that's good. my sister has been induced 2 times and I was there, she says she would still do it again with an epidural. it's necessary for my daughter's dad to be able to see her birth, @ilyric my sister has had 2 if not all 3 of hers with pitocin. everyone is different, and,it not saying it matters about dialation but if I'm already to a 4 or whatever, it's gonna be easier than going from 0 to 10cm on pitocin, either way it's gonna hurt. I think I'll be fine
