Had a membrane sweep thursday morning and been cramping since then with on/off contractions. but as of about an hour and a half ago, ive started getting these shooting pains that start from my back and move to my lower pelvic area. its like a take-your-breath-away/stop-in-your-tracks kind of pain and feels like a cross between a needle and a stun gun! Changing positions doesnt really help AT ALL and all i can do is try to breathe through it. It doesnt feel like the contractions ive experienced these past couple of days, but i have nothing really to go off of since this is my first pregnancy. Any ideas as to whats going on??
im just so nervous to go to l&d because ive been in there 4 times so far for false alarms! first time i thought the baby wasnt moving enough, she was just lazy. then i was having contractions every 15 minutes apart (not imagined thank goodness) and then i thought my water broke! and then the last time i went in was a week ago today and that was because of the contractions again.
so i dont wanna keep going in and annoying them for false alarms... and i cant handle it myself, its so exhausting emotionally
but i will if i have to, but when is a good time to? i thought i was supposed to try to time them for a certain amount of time
