Ugh. They did the trach Thursday. Camiyha is alert and doing fairly well. See how she's got my hubby's hand? 😍😍😍 (This is not very very long-term but at present it's the only way we can keep her little airways clear.) Hey I know this is a really old post but I found it in the search bar under "trach". My lo is 5 months and just got a trach put in on Monday (4 days ago) and he still isn't interested in nursing. Not sure if you breastfed or not but was wondering how long it took for your lo to eat by mouth after getting it done? Hope everything is a lot better and easier now for your family!
