I'm 5 weeks post partum and my bleeding has gotten really heavy the past 3 days. I'm passing mini blood clots as well. But I thought it was supposed to lighten up by now? I'm bleeding like I was after birth if not more.

Just crazy. They say breastfeeding mom's normally don't have a period for months. But I guess some do.
Yea I stopped bleeding for a couple days and I was just wearing panty liners. Then I started bleeding heavy,and craving chocolate. Just not cramping much like I normally did on my periods. If it don't slow down a little bit by Monday I'll call the nurse.
It could be that you're getting your period already. That's what happened to me around my 5th week, I had completely stopped bleeding prior and then it just started up. They say with your first period after its not uncommon to be heavy

I would call your ob and go in!!! definitely not supposed to be bleeding that much! could be your first period though! mine was horrible! hope it stops soon!
it happend to me and the dr. said it was normal but it was crazy I would be standing and out of nowhere all the blood cloths
