I know the epidural helps contractions but will it help the crowing part , if not does it hurt really bad?? I had my son naturally but now I can't even remember the pain

@queenbee29, maybe it depends on the doctor or the hospital as to how much you're given. because I've been hearing people say they felt nothing and had to be told and that was definitely not how it went for me. when it was time to push I felt it and knew when to. I didn't have a choice. and I felt her head and everything coming out. apparently I didn't get the "forget it after its over" affect either because I 100% remember it all. it's like any medicine. .. it does different people different ways.

I got an epidural with all three of my kids and it only worked with one of them and it hurt like hell with the other two but honestly it's worth the pain and if you don't want an epidural they do have other things they can give you to ease the pain cause an epidural will mess your back up I have lower back problems and with my last pregnancy they had to stick me 3 times cause it wasn't going in right but when my epidural did work I couldn't feel ANYTHING I couldn't even feel if I was pushing and I thought I was pushing but I wasn't it took me about 5 times before I actually got it right

I am too uncomfortable to be nervous! 😂 Lol, but I have a wonderful doula and a few other ladies who are familiar with birth to help me...so I am so blessed right now. Talk to me in a day, though, when the contractions start getting closer, we will see how I feel! 😸

I am hoping to get through it naturally, hopefully the situation doesn't require drugs, like I don't have a 2 day birth lol

Oh, I didn't mean they won't tell you, I meant some women physically can't push because they can't feel! @hermommy

they tell you when to push I'll put it this way she was more worried about the way birth smells then pain lol so you'll be fine, your doctor will tell you when to push:)@queenbee29 quee

I heard epidural hinders you because you can't feel enough to push sometimes
