The chances of the courts taking a baby from its mother is so nil not to mention you say he is a heroin addict, no court will ever give him any type of custody and if anything would get supervised visitation. If you didn't know you had sex you can easily say that you have no recollection of having sex with him and if the baby is his then it was done purely without consent and you know where I'm going with this...if he had sex with you without your consent that is rape. End of story. Anyway, his parents have no rights to the baby, I'm not sure what state you live in but grandparents have no legal rights in most states. If you are not using drugs and have a safe environment with supportive parent/s then you have no chance of losing your baby. only way you would have to is if you are court ordered and you can't be court ordered unless you're getting benefits from the government such as Medicaid and food stamps. And u can still name your child whatever you want. The men have no rights to know UNLESS you are going to receive benefits from the government
