Has anyone had butt & lower back pain starting in the 1st trimester? Honestly, my entire left side feels like I got hit by a truck. I started getting a sharp pain about 3 inches to the left of my sternum & 1 inch below my collarbone a few weeks ago that I dismissed as a muscle strain. Then 2 days ago my knee became so painful that I haven't been able to stand for more than 5 minutes since, but, again, I dismissed it... this time to weather changes & an old knee injury. But yesterday I noticed I can't bend or turn without extreme pain in my left side & it feels like I'm constantly clenching my left butt cheek. I've been taking Ibuprofen for a few days & none of it is getting better. I know sciatica can be an issue in pregnancy, but it hurts everywhere EXCEPT where the sciatic nerve runs. Please tell me someone has experienced this in early pregnancy & can fix me. My hubby is going to be out at sea for all but 6 weeks of my entire pregnancy & I'm already completely useless. I have an OB appt Wednesday, but I'm dying over here in the meantime. Tips?

sounds like sciatica. my doc says I have it and it's the same pains you're describing. there are stretches you can do to help.I tried a hot water bottle but it didn't help @abaigealleigh
well I have them now badly being I'm almost to my half mark, but a heating pad works on your back.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
I've been having a little pain and sore feeling in my left leg all week long. What could it be? For the most part the pain is on the top left side of my upper thigh and stops before my knee.
all pregnant women complain we're pregnant we have every right to complain doesn't matter if your early in pregnancy or late in pregnancy I complained everyday of my entire pregnancy because it really sucked for me and I'm only about to be 39 weeks so I'm gonna complain even more
Is there anybody else who gets really bad butt pains while pregnant? For the past month or two I have had a really bad every day pain on my left side of my butt.
I'm 20 weeks and 6 days. It's really difficult to sleep at night.. I know I can't sleep on my back or stomach without getting uncomfortable, so I sleep on my sides. Now I have this problem where my entire side ( left or right) goes completely numb.. It's frustrating because I'm a full time waitress and I lose almost all my sleep due to my sides going numb. Anyone with the same issue or is something wrong??
