I'm watching Grey's Anatomy and there was a lady who had to have an emergency c-section and she was only 30 weeks, my husband works in a hospital in labor and delivery and had to deliver one, so as the pull the baby out he says "it's skin is too pink" and starts crying! 😢 How in the heck do I react to this? I gave him a hug and started crying with him cuz I feel bad that he had to do that! But I feel I should do more.. Help me please!
I was watching greys anatomy with my sister last week & the girl doing the csection accidently cut the babies arm almost all the way off they had to use tissue from the umbilical cord to repair it. I freaked out!
Sometimes it's just best to let him cry and talk about it without saying anything just let him feel. I had to go through my SO breaking down on me over the phone (he works out of town) bc he had heard at a plant near where he works a guy only a year younger than he is was crushed by pipe to the point where he was only 8 inches thick when they life flight him to the hospital. They don't know specifics or what is his condition if he made it but it really scared my SO and put things into perspective for him. And all I could do was let him cry it out and just listen to what he had to say. It sucks but sometimes that's all you can do
I would love to listen to him talk about it and vent hut he doesn't want to.. I want him to talk to be but he says not talking about it is how he copes with it 😳
